How to Disable WhatsApp Blue Tick For Read Messages

Before few days, Whatsapp introduced a new feature “Blue Tick for Read Messages” that enable sender to see that you read the message or not. In other words we can say that when you read the message your friend will notify by Blue Tick.  This feature create a lot of problem for you because you need to reply for your friend even you don’t want reply.

But Now Whatsapp also release the solution for this problem. Now Android user can disable this feature with only few steps.  The mobile messaging service is letting users of its Android app disable the feature with the rollout of WhatsApp version 2.11.444. This version is available for users on WhatsApp’s website for now, and will eventually be rolled out to all users.

How To Disable WhatsApp Blue Tick?

Here I am going to share with you that how you can disable “Blue Tick For Read Messages” with the message timestamp in your android devices.

Follow the following steps to disable whatsapp blue tick.

Step 1: Make sure that your smartphone is running on Android 2.1 or a newer version.

Step 2: Go to settings menu and enable ‘Download from Unknown Sources’ in the Security tab.

Step 3: Download the Updated Whats app Version.

Step 4: Once the Whatsapp  APK file is downloaded to your device, tap the ‘Install‘ option.

Step 5: Now that WhatsApp has been updated, select Settings > Account > Privacy. Under the Privacy tab, uncheck the Read Receipts option.

Once you disable this feature, you won’t be able to view blue double-check marks when you send a message as well.
