It’s well said that it doesn’t matter how much you earn. At the end of the day, the thing that matters is the amount of money you saved for your future.
So we should try to save money on everything we can do. I am not saying that you don’t fulfill your necessity but try to save whenever and wherever you can.
In this tutorial, I am going to share five methods using which you can save your money while doing online shopping.
Shop on the Right Day
You will find many shopping carnivals by different online shopping portal throughout the year, and one should wait for those days as it provides maximum deals and discounts.
In India, Flipkart, Amazon, Snapdeal and many other leading shopping sites keep on organizing mega shopping festivals, and you can make use of those.
The thing is you will have first to organize and maintain your list for the upcoming festival seasons to save more.
Depending on the product, prices can fluctuate up to 15% in one day!
Leave Products in Your Cart
This has been proved to be one of the easiest ways to save money. Many times if you will abandon your cart and wait for some time you may get a better deal.
Rather than lose the sale, they will often send you discount offers to get you to purchase from them. Leaving an item in your cart is also a great way to avoid wasting money on impulse buys.
Use discount coupons
There are many coupon sites which provide discount coupons at times. You just need to visit those sites and search for the required coupons, and you can save a good amount of money.
For example, I am shopping on eBay and looking for Ebay coupons to save some amount of the transactions.
You can visit the coupons site like Zutons and find the coupons for almost all the shopping sites and e-commerce sites.
You can get some huge deals and attractive offers using coupons and so is highly recommended to use such offers and coupon codes.
Google The Product Name
Just because you found a product for what seems like a great deal on one site doesn’t mean it isn’t going for significantly less somewhere else. Often, these better deals can be found by simply Googling the product’s name.
If you are buying any particular item, make sure to search on Google for a better price. Recently I was about to buy a DSLR at 32.5k and just for checking I checked the price in Google search and luckily the same item was available at some other site at just 27.9K, and so I almost saved around 4.5k which is not a less amount.
Use the Right Credit Card
Credit card companies often charge the retailer a fee on transactions, which is why so many large companies offer their credit card programs. To encourage you to use their credit card, companies will often offer cash back programs.
Conclusion
These were some of the best methods to save on online shopping. One should use these methods if want to save more on online shopping.
